Behind the Words

I love words. I love the power they hold and the impact they can have when used wisely and well. So I started this blog to be a space to fill with the words that I feel and think throughout my days - specifically those pertaining to faith, motherhood, and this great experience we call life.

As a mother of 2 littles, I found myself in need of some sort of communications outlet beyond toddler chitchat and singing Disney songs. Having been a teacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ for 7 years, I love scripture study and collaboration. And as a human I find myself, as the title of this blog suggests, prone to wander; from what matters most, from who I desire to be, and from God. Sometimes it's good to know that you are not alone in your wandering.

While I selfishly desire this space to be an outlet for me, I also hope that it might serve as some sort of beacon for some other wanderer just trying their best to follow Christ in today's world.
